Mediterranean Cruise
Some of
the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean, Corsica and Sardinia, the
Italian Tuscany coast and the South of France coast, are on the itinerary of
this fascinating tour of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
See a rich mosaic of sights, including
sun-washed beaches. Cruises are a wonderful, worry-free way to explore the
great wonders of the Mediterranean. You will sail to Sardinia on the Tuscany
coast, and then on to beautiful Corsica.
Day
1: Italian Coast
You and
three guests will enjoy the bustling life on Italy’s Tuscany coast before
you board your cruise to Sardinia. The Corsica Sardinia ships are new and
luxurious with all amenities of a modern cruise ship. Check into your
comfortable cabin with air conditioning and private facilities before you
enjoy the life on board. Sample the food in one of the
restaurants, enjoy a movie in the cinema, entertain yourselves in the casino
or the nightclub before you retire to your comfortable cabin.
Day
2: Sardinia
We arrive in
Porto Arrancio in the north of Sardinia and board our luxury coach which
will stay with us on our island programme. We travel across the island and
enjoy the variety of the countryside and the beaches. We check into our
hotel at the world famous ‘Costa Smeralda’ area, relax at the pool or join
our optional ‘Costa Smeralda – Tour’. Enjoy the atmosphere of this resort
that is popular with the rich and famous, stroll along one of the wonderful
beaches and enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere and climate.
Day 3: Sardina
Enjoy a day at the
pool or the beach or join us on the ‘Sardinian Highlight Tour’ where you
will
experience the fascinating scenery and gives you a wonderful impression of
this relatively undiscovered
island.
Day
4: Corsica
From our
hotel we travel north to Santa Teresa di Galura to take the cruise crossing
to Corsica. Enjoy the fantastic views of the Sardinia coastline before
approaching San Bonifacio, the lively little harbour town at the south end
of
Corsica. Enjoy the day on your own or join us on the optional Corsica tour
which takes us into the breathtaking mountains and to some of the world’s
most beautiful beaches before we travel north across the island to Bastia or
Ajaccio. In the evening we board the ship. This new ship offers all
amenities of a modern cruise ship and will make this part of the journey yet
another highlight. Relax on deck or in the bar, sample one of the various
restaurants which offer everything from self service to haute cuisine and
enjoy the air of the Mediterranean before you retire to your comfortable
cabin while
we
sail along the South of France coast tour final port.
Day 5: South of
France
Arrive at
the final cruise port in the South of
France where we disembark and travel
home to the
UK or join us on our luxury transfer coach.
