KOBLENZ - PRAGUE – VIENNA – BUDAPEST – SALZBURG - BAVARIA
Day
1: KOBLENZ
Join your coach in Calais or at your pick-up point (extra charges may apply, see above) and travel through Belgium to Germany. Enjoy an optional boat ride on the Rhine and enjoy the ‘Gemutlichkeit’ with wine and music. Check in to your hotel in the Koblenz area.
Day 2: PRAGUE
Travel through Germany to the Czech capital Prague. Check in to your hotel and get ready for an optional ‘Prague by night’ excursion full of fun and famous local beer.
Day 3: PRAGUE
Discover
Prague or join our optional ‘Prague City Tour’ covering the main sights such
as the Hradschin castle and the Charles bridge. In the afternoon travel
towards the Vienna area where we stay for 3 nights.
Day 4: VIENNA
Discover Vienna or join us on the optional ‘Vienna City Tour’ and covering the main sights such as the Opera House, St. Stephans’ Cathedral, and the Belvedere Palace and visit a typical ‘Viennese coffee house’. In the evening you might join the ‘Vienna by night’ programme, see the impressive illuminations and visit the famous ‘Heuigen wine restaurants’.
Day 5: BUDAPEST
Travel to the capital of Hungary, Budapest on the river Danube. Discover the city on your own or join our ‘City Tour’ covering the main sights such as the castle, Matthias church, Parliament etc. We then return to Vienna.
Day 6: SALTZBURG
Leave Vienna and travel to Salzburg. Enjoy the sights of Fort Hohensalzburg, the Mirabell Palace and gardens, the Cathedral and the home of Mozart before we travel through the magnificent Alpine scenery of Bavaria and Austria to the Tyrol for your last overnight in a mountain resort hotel.
Day 7: RETURN UK
Today you head north through Germany back to Calais.
